Akshay Chawda is a New Delhi-based composer and multi-instrumentalist, celebrated as one of India’s few pioneering Handpan players. His journey into music began early, fueled by a deep fascination with sound and rhythm.

Akshay honed his craft at the prestigious KM Conservatory in Chennai, founded by GRAMMY® and Academy Award-winning composer A.R. Rahman. His passion for percussive rhythm led him to study Konnakkol at the World Konnakkol Academy in Bengaluru, adding ancient rhythmic traditions to his versatile repertoire.

Mastering instruments such as the Handpan, Flute, Didgeridoo, and Mouthharp, Akshay’s compositions reflect his belief in music’s therapeutic power to heal the mind, body, and soul. His work resonates deeply with audiences, blending modern innovation with ancient traditions to create melodies that inspire and soothe.
